The Yellow Room is a large, bright meeting room on the 1st floor of the Albany building. This room has an abundance of natural light making it perfect for workshops, meetings and team away days. Should it be required, we can offer a flipchart and mobile TV screen for an additional cost.

As a community arts centre, we pride ourselves in being a fully accessible venue and building, which caters for the needs of all our visitors. All of our spaces are wheelchair accessible and we have a lift on site for access to the first floor and accessible toilet facilities on site. The Albany is an arts centre in the heart of Deptford that exists to inspire, develop and support creativity for the benefit of our community.
We aim to provide and support:
• An artistic and community resource where diversity and creativity flourish.
• A space where new talent is nurtured and exposed to ideas from across the world.
• High quality creative experiences relating to the communities we serve.
• A creative centre for learning within the community, contributing to the cultural, social and economic benefit of South East London.
Whether you choose to host a rehearsal, training session or meeting, you’ll be in the heart of bustling Deptford with excellent transportation links to the city and beyond. With a café on site, community garden, and exhibition spaces there is plenty to see and do while you visit. Here at the Albany, we can offer superb facilities, great catering and tailored support for your rehearsal, workshop, training session or meeting space.

Cafe & Garden:
The Albany Café is a light and airy space and is the perfect a breakout or lunch space for hires using the meeting rooms. We stock local suppliers and even use ingredients from our own garden into what we cook here.
Getting Here:
If coming by public transport, the nearest stations are Deptford for National Rail, Deptford Bridge Station for DLR and New Cross Station for Overground and National Rail. Buses 53, 453, 177 and 47 all stop near Deptford High Street from where it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the Albany.
The Albany does not have dedicated parking for our audience but the closest parking spaces are located at Frankham Street. Parking is charged at 25p per 15 minutes.
