About this space

Our Underwood venue in Underwood Works @Old Street is comprised of 6 unique event spaces all under the same roof. Fully DDA compliant, with excellent public transport links, being only a 5-minute walk from Old Street station.
All the spaces in the venue bask in natural light, with stylish decoration, state-of-the-art AV equipment, versatile setup possibilities and sustainable practices in place throughout. You can rent the entire space or any combination of the spaces to meet your event needs.

The White Loft is a bright, modern space that can host comfortably up to 130 for a reception, 120 in theatre style and 90 in a cabaret style set up.

The New Victorian Loft boasts elegant neutral-toned soft furnishings and can host comfortably up to 210 people for a reception, 140 in theatre style and 100 in a cabaret style set up.

The Chalet is a bright space which nestles between the two lofts, with comfortable soft furnishings and a kitchen area that can be hired as an additional break out or catering space with one or both of the large loft spaces.

The Palm Room is a haven of tranquillity, situated on the 2nd floor directly below the New White Loft which comfortably hosts 120 for standing receptions, 110 in theatre and 90 in cabaret.

The Studio and La Galeria are on the lower ground floor and provide a perfect blank canvas for photo shoots and filming and are ideal for special party events that go on until late for up to 180 people.

The building has a modern reception, two passenger lifts, cycle storage facilities, air conditioning, wheelchair-friendly bathrooms and step-free access throughout.

Underwood is ideal for wide a variety of events including team building, workshops, conferences, receptions, filming, castings, rehearsal rooms, photo shoots and Christmas parties.

Our new La Galeria and Underwood Studios spaces provide the ideal ambiance for your Christmas party, or why not transform your day event in our Underwood Lofts into an after-party downstairs in La Galeria?!
