Originally a bank in the 1880s, Balfour St Bart’s provides an industrial-chic venue with a main bar and mezzanine for 150 guests. Savour great food, wine, and an extensive selection of local beers.

St Bart's Brewery is available for full exclusive hire. You will benefit from
use of the main bar area, lounge, upper level mezzanine and the Balfour Bar with it's additional bar space.

This unique venue will bring you industrial chic teamed with first class service, great food, wine and an extensive list of local beers to impress your guests for any occasion.

When hiring the venue, you gain access to our PA system and microphones, in house surround sound system, flat screen TVs with HDMI and USB portals and a team of event staff who will be at hand to assist and guide you throughout the planning process.

We understand that every couple has a unique vision for their day and so our dedicated team will tailor every detail with you in my mind from the very start; from hand crafting your Wedding Menu, designing a layout and running order to best suit you as well as devising and securing all those special extras for your day. We are on hand every step of the way.
Minimum Spend
£15000 minimum spend
Within the minimum spend you would have:

Exclusive use of the space all day
All food; arrival canapes, 3-course meal and evening food
All drinks: arrival drinks, wine with meal, tea/coffee and evening reception drinks.
All tables (round, oblong or galley style), chairs, linen, tableware and glassware.
PA system ready for plug-in by band or DJ (or both)
1 wired microphone good for speeches and 52" TV in the main bar which can be used for Pictures or videos etc via HDMI plugin.
Dedicated wedding specialists are on hand and there on the day to ensure a smooth running of all details - we can also tailor make a custom package to suit your needs.
The team will take care of all decorative items on the day of set up
A fantastic list of suppliers which we can put you in touch with if you are looking for bespoke items or specific items like a photo booth, face painters (yes, it's all happened here!) or magicians!

The food was amazing, staff fantastic and everyone had a brilliant day. The park across the street and the neighbouring Smithfield Market were good for those people that wanted fresh air. We LOVED the beef main course and the English sparkling wines, and we felt so well looked after by the staff - they really made us feel special.
Haste to turnaround the room after the meal resulted in 1 or 2 cards that we'd received being binned rather than saved. :(
