Ursula Loyer's Room at Van Gogh House
About this space
Ursula Loyer was Van Gogh’s landlady, and at the time she lived in this room with her daughter. The room spans the width of the house, has bare wooden floorboards and furniture, lots of pot plants and the original Georgian windows refitted with period crown glass. The mirror in the centre pulls away to reveal a hidden safe!
The private first-floor room lends itself well to meetings, photoshoots and private dinners. The space can also be added to the Gallery, Kitchen and Garden for a unique whole house supper club experience.

About Van Gogh House
Van Gogh House is a stunningly conserved Georgian Terrace House in Stockwell, in which its eponymous former resident lived in 1873. Beautifully renovated in 2018, the architecture reveals its history in period features and original floorboards.
A bright and airy modern extension to the rear looks over a garden thoughtfully planted with the flowers Van Gogh would have seen in the 19th century. It's a unique setting for private dinners and supper clubs, a private place for meetings, an atmospheric background for a product or book launch.
