Located at the heart of our elegant Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon is The Tasting Room - a beautifully intimate setting for a private lunch or famous Fortnum's Afternoon Tea.

Officially opened in 2012, The room makes the perfect setting to sample culinary delights that range from breakfasts, lunches, private dinners, and of course our afternoon tea as well as celebratory occasions such as baby showers & hen parties.

Tea is a tradition at Fortnum’s that goes back more than 300 years, so a visit is a must. Our buyers seek out and source only the finest teas, and our expert ‘Tearistas’ can guide you through some of the world’s best blends.

To enhance the dining experience we kindly ask our guests to pre-select their set-menu and we require all guests to have the same menu on the day. Guests in your party with vegetarian or other dietary requirements can be catered for.

We organized a delightful surprise birthday celebration at the Tasting Room. The atmosphere was enchanting, providing exceptional comfort, and the service extended by our servers, Sevi and Erkut, was absolutely outstanding. The event flowed seamlessly, adhering to the schedule perfectly. Our glasses remained filled throughout, without the need for us to request anything. The culinary offerings were also exquisite. Every individual present left the occasion content, thoroughly enjoying the venue selection. Without a doubt, we will consider them for our future events.
I arranged for a generous selection of canapés that were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. However, during the dinner service, the canapés were cleared away, and it would have been ideal to have them available on the side. This would have allowed those who were enjoying drinks at the end to continue nibbling. While not a major concern, I offer this as a constructive suggestion.
