About this space

The space is comprised of an airy ground floor and mezzanine restaurant area and library. With a classic European cafe feel, you can celebrate weddings, birthdays or your office party in a bespoke intimate setting.

We offer both wet hire and dry hire and have a maximum capacity of 120 people standing across the whole venue. For sit-down dinners or functions, capacity depends on the format of the event.

Christmas Party Offers

Make up for lost time this December by holding your Christmas party at Fidelio. Enjoy three courses of festive dining, including must-have traditional dishes and well so our seasonal favourites. Assisted choice of wines, with vegan/GF and non-alcoholic drinks options available.

After you've eaten, continue the party downstairs where you can relax by the fire or even have a little boogie in our cosy Brooklyn style cocktail lounge. Let the drinks flow with bespoke cocktails, beers and wine. We can tailor the event to your requirements, including arranging live music around either of our grand pianos*, string quartet* or some gypsy jazz*

I am so glad I chose Fidelio Café for my 40th Birthday party! Ash really went above and beyond and made the whole process clear, stress free and straightforward. He was happy to answer questions, set up calls to go through planning, and offer valuable advice. This was particularly helpful for me as I had not organised an event like this before. The party was a huge success, and definitely a night to remember!! Ash and the team were warm, fun, friendly and welcoming. The venue and service on the night was impeccable and my friends and family were VERY impressed! The vibe was exactly as I'd hoped. Relaxed but fun, elegant with ease. I will definitely return to Fidelio Café and will highly recommend Ash and this venue to others. Fidelio is a safe, inclusive space. Thank you (again!) to Ash and the team.

We hosted our ‘happily ever after party’ and Fidelio and had an absolute blast. From start to finish Ash was brilliant and helped to make the evening a great event. We would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking to host a private event in the future.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Fidelio Café in Clerkenwell, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! After being let down by another venue during the pandemic, we were initially nervous about the process, but Ash and Pedge exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, they were not only kind and creative but also incredibly prompt in responding to every single request we had—nothing was too big or too small for them to handle. No ask was ever too much, and they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Their professionalism and attention to detail shone through in the lead-up to our wedding and on the day itself. And the food—wow, it was out of this world! If you’re looking for a venue that truly cares about your event and delivers exceptional service, Fidelio Café is the place. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Everything about this booking was excellent. The communication was first rate, staff were lovely and extremely helpful, everyone loved the venue. Canapés were great. The venue felt really intimate, but with enough space for everyone to congregate in one place as well. Highly recommend. Thank you Ash and all the team.

About Fidelio

Fidelio Cafe is a coffee-shop and bar with the mission of getting young people closer to classical music.

Arranged over basement, ground floor and mezzanine, it features a very unique charm bringing together the intimacy of the basement lounge with the open and light atmosphere of the main ground floor space.

We rent several of our spaces separately so do not hesitate to enquire about your best solution. We will be happy to help.
