About this space

Shirley Park Golf Club has one large function room, the Dome suite, which seats up to 150 persons, theatre style for a conference/meeting or on separate tables for a banquet, corporate dinner, or a party. This same room has a good size dance floor, p.a system, and Wi-Fi throughout AND is very bright and airy, overlooking the attractive club patio and golf course.
The Dome suite is adjacent to the very comfortable bar lounge, which can also be used for tea & coffee breaks, pre-dinner drinks, and as a general reception area.

This is not your average conference or dining room in Croydon. This is a tastefully-decorated meeting room or function space, in a relaxing atmosphere with lots of natural daylight and a full bar and catering facilities for your special event.
We cater for many different events, from a small family wake with finger buffet to a large celebration, party, or wedding, offering a range of menu packages with drinks and often some extras like canapes or tea, coffee, and pastries.
Room hire is available for a half-day or full-day or even just a wedding ceremony.

About Shirley Park Golf Club

Shirley Park Golf Club is located on the Addiscombe Rd., next to Trinity school. 5 minutes drive from East Croydon station and easy transport links with local bus and tram services. We have plenty of FREE car parking. Our main function room is bright and airy with lots of natural daylight, overlooking the club patio and the golf course, which is certainly available for some of your wedding photographs.

So if you are looking for a venue to hold a wedding reception and/or ceremony in Croydon or the South London area, then Shirley Park Golf Club is the place for you. We are licensed to hold ceremonies for marriages and civil partnerships. Our Dome Suite seats up to 100 persons for the ceremony and your wedding breakfast.

You can enter the Dome suite through the front entrance and our spacious bar lounge or from our very attractive patio at the rear of the clubhouse and we are fully accessible for disabled guests.

Through our wide experience in handling such events, we can help, if required, with suppliers of chair covers, flowers, balloons, wedding cakes, photographers and so on.

Evening celebrations are always a special part of your day. The room has a purpose-built dance floor and we can provide a stage for your band or DJ. We can accommodate up to 150 guests for your party and provide an excellent choice of buffets.
