About this space
Evans & Peel Detective Agency is an independently owned 1920's Prohibition-themed cocktail bar located in Earl's Court, 5 minutes walk from the station.
Evans & Peel opened their door back in 2012 and, since then, has been critically acclaimed among the best speakeasy bars in London.
We offer a finely crafted cocktail list including our very own 12 signature cocktails and all the classics available upon request, as well as a Modern-American Tapas-Style food menu.
We've hosted dozens of parties/private events for up to 100 guests throughout these past 10 years, serving up bespoke cocktails and canape-style food.
During our last event, we hosted a company staff party with 85 guests and a stage with over 10 musicians from Ronnie Scott's.

Evans & Peel Detective Agency is one of the most unique cocktail bars in London.
Evans & Peel's private detective is awaiting your case in his evidence-filled office. Come and see him for a chat, then he’ll send you through a secret door to his hidden 1920s drinking den whilst he works on cracking your file.
In their speakeasy, away from the prying eyes of the law, bootlegged liquor is expertly mixed, shaken, and served in crafty ways with a touch of drama and intrigue. The biggest crooks in the prohibition business have mingled within these walls – their legacies left in our menu of their tipples of choice.
Don’t think for one minute you will be able to overhear their illicit plans, they have live 20’s jazz, swing, and blues every night for you to immerse yourself in.
Sit back, order some food from their modern-American menu, and sip cocktails in this candlelit and atmospheric safe house, until the coast looks clear.
