About this space

Downstairs @ the Albany is a hidden gem, part of the pub but also a venue in its own right with private entrance, bar and toilets.

Over the years, it has played host to a litany of comedians and artists, and was the location of the first ever residency for the Chemical Brothers (The Dust Brothers) with the Heavenly Sunday Social.

This is a perfect space for daytime or evening Corporate Business events or celebration. We can offer boardroom seating, theater style or even seating in different areas for break out groups or similar.

Whether you are looking to host a Corporate Function or party the night away we can help with all your needs. The space holds 100 guests standing or 75 if you are using the stage area. We have a private entrance available on request and separate toilets. The space includes a fully stocked private bar so you have everything you need to have a perfect night with us.

Full PA system set up and AV equipment to cater to every need.

Christmas at the Green Man is one of our favourite times of the year, with additional fairy lights dressing the Wild Wood Room and all the classics from Roast Turkey and Pigs in Blankets to Prosecco parties and Christmas crackers.
We can offer drinks receptions, traditional sit down meals or buffets for both small and large groups

Great venue, good service, all set out nicely and lovely food.

The toilet doors in the ladies were extremely hard to close. Some of our female guests commented on this.

Communications was excellent! Staff are helpful . Kept all the promise

Food was good, three menus to choose from with decent options for vegan and vegetarian.

Food not labelled so hard to tell which options has meat or allergies.
