Host your event at The Fire Station, a Waterloo landmark where heroes have walked. Enjoy their delicious menu of burgers and pizzas and sip on expertly crafted cocktails by their dedicated bartenders.

We are an open space venue, both restaurant and bar area are openly connected.

Great venue, cool-looking and super close to Waterloo station (but you need the right exit!). People liked the food (I got pizzas and fries), and the drinks tokens system really worked quite nicely, without feeling cheap. Good music too, which I think the DJ actually adapted to our age group (late 20s / early 30s)
The main thing I would improve (which is an easy-fix and was maybe a one-off issue) is the check-in experience. I had to chase 3-4 people until I found the manager to check us in, show us which area was ours, and provide us with the drinks tokens. It meant that some of my guests had to arrive and then buy their own while we were waiting, so this was a bit awkward. Also, I would recommend popping in in advance first to clarify which specific area you would like. Not too big a deal, but I thought I had an area slightly further away from the speakers, but it was another party there, so it was a little loud. But again, not terrible. Also, they put up a "barrier" of tables between the parties (which was great!) to separate the spaces. However, they could also put one up as a kind of "gate" into our area from the main bar, as we often had other rando's kind of filling our space a bit. They eventually moved out over time as we filled it up, but again I think an easy fix. Overall, still a really brilliant venue, great value, and staff were friendly. Also, its nice just to say your event is at "The Fire Station" lol. So would definitely still recommend!

My guests were really trhilled about the drinks voucher. They liked the night and the dj and the place so much that they all had a minimum of another 2 drinks if not a lot more than that.

About The Fire Station

The fire station has been a Waterloo landmark for over a century.
Heroes once walked these floors, so we serve up gutsy food and drink worthy of our local legends.

Our big, bold burgers begin with a double patty of honest basics like chuck, brisket and dry-aged flank.
Then we pile ‘em high with tasty add-ons, including beer braised onions, burger sauce and double cheese.

And then there’s the pizza. Hand pressed and made to order, our bases are loaded with toppings that run from the classic to the unconventional. And while our secret sauce is pretty stunning, it’s our pizza oven that makes every slice a cut above.

Our bartenders love their craft, so we challenged them to get creative with our drinks list.
The result is an inspired mix of quirky cocktails, home-smoked spirits and the best fizz, wine and beer from around the corner and around the world. We’ve also teamed up with caravan coffee so your daily fix is lovingly brewed using small batches of ethically sourced 100% arabica beans.

So whether you’re up for a round after work or winding down at the weekend, we keep things simple but surprising.
