A unique find in Notting Hill. The Mercury Lounge is below the main bar in the Champion.
With a U-shape booth style seating area towards the back of the room, it is an ideal space for sit down meals, meetings or other occasions. The main area of the lounge has a private bar and moveable furniture to allow us to be flexible and meet your needs.
There is a screen in the room should it be required for presentations, and we can provide flip charts if required.
The lounge does get some natural daylight and the doors lead out into our secret beer garden. You wouldn't know this was here and is great for those summer parties where inside and outside space are required.

Our engagement party at The Champion was fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, professional and made the evening run seamlessly. The Mercury Lounge and garden were great for our group and the selection of drinks was good.
We held a family reunion here and it was great to have the outside space as well - fortunately the weather was dry and warm. There were 50 of us including 14 children. Food was ordered on an individual group basis and was served in good time and the quality was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would happily use this venue again.
We loved the room & garden. Cynthia was fantastic & looked after us so well. She is a credit to your business. The food was very good. The only problem was the music which kept cutting out. Otherwise w3 had a great evening. Thankyou
Sound system.
The venue itself and outdoor area is lovely and was the perfect size for our party (around 50/60 people). Contact was easy between me, Lea and the bar manager and they answered all my queries, silly or not, very quickly. We arrived early to set up and pretty much had free reign to put up what balloons/banners etc we wanted. Drinks and food were pre-ordered and staff checked with us when we wanted to have these come out. The food was delicious and didn't last long :) It was great that the bar downstairs had been stocked with drinks that we had pre-arranged for ease. Main thing for us was how brilliant all the guys were - especially Gio and Paolo(?) - thank you again.
We were having such a good night that we didn't realise it was 12am until the music cut out - a little bit of warning might have been better but I guess that's the downside of doing the music yourself!
