We felt that Islington`s brilliant food scene was missing one thing: truly authentic Mexican food. Our genuine passion for Mexican cuisine is what makes Desperados unique, and we still continually research and experiment to make sure we’re the forerunner of the Mexican food revolution in London. We also visit Mexico on food-finding missions, choosing the most exciting recipes to inspire our menus back in London. We’ve researched Mexican cooking methods, roamed the markets, cooked with local people in their homes, and yes, stuffed our faces. But all that means we can proudly offer up the first truly authentic Mexican street food. We are the best Mexican Restaurant in London.
