Barber-Surgeons' Hall is an elegant and versatile event venue.
The beautifully grand townhouse is the third incarnation of the original Hall on this site, standing alongside the remains of the Roman-built London Wall.
The Great Hall is a striking room, panelled with Japanese Oak and opening directly onto the Terrace. Lit with Waterford crystal chandeliers, flooded with natural light and bowed towards the West, the Hall is dominated by a magnificent Holbein painting of Henry VIII uniting the Barbers’ and Surgeons’ Companies in 1541/2.

Barber-Surgeon’s Hall is an elegant and welcoming venue in the heart of the city offering bespoke event management, on site catering and total commitment to the success of your event. A discreet and yet absolutely central location, ideal for conferences, seminars, briefings, receptions and more formal dining. The Great Hall has fantastic sight lines and is dramatic and luxurious.
The double fronted Hall features a series of interconnecting reception rooms, panelled with Japanese oak and filled with the treasures of the Barbers’ Company.
The outside space offers a stunning terrace and a historic herb garden boasting the London Wall at its perimeter. The garden provides a beautiful backdrop from the terrace running the full length of the Great Hall.
The Great Hall itself is flooded with natural light, bowed towards the west and dominated by a magnificent Holbein painting of Henry VIII uniting the Barbers’ and Surgeons’ Companies’ Hall.
