The Drawing Room at University Women's Club
About this space
The Drawing room is situated on the first floor, decorated with wonderful hand-painted walls in a Chinoiserie design by artist Lucy Makin. The room is complete with a grand piano and overlooks a secluded terraced garden shaded by an old London plane tree. In the winter, the fire burns within the original opulent fireplace, and in the summer the French windows to the balcony provide a wonderful cooling breeze.
