Our Academy comprises of varied size function rooms allowing us to cater anything from small and intimate post-wedding meal, to a large fun-fuelled evening wedding reception, and anything in between.

We are licensed venue and can hold up to 90 guests for civil ceremonies and same-sex marriages. We can seat 90 guests for the wedding breakfast in our Black Prince Suite and up to 70 in our Edwards Suite. At Academy we can hold up to an enormous 250 guests across both suites for a remarkable evening reception.

Our skilled team of chefs can prepare a variety of delicious, freshly prepared dining options specific to your special day from our extensive menu selection.

We work with a trusted team of venue decorators and suppliers who will endeavour to ensure that no detail is overlooked. For the added benefit, everything can be arranged via the Holiday Inn, from chair covers and sashes in your colour theme to our in-house DJ with his disco lights and portable dance floor!

Our variety of valuable packages on offer, alongside the opportunity to customise your own wedding brings everything together all in one venue.
