About this space
This unique venue set in the heart of London in attractive Pimlico Gardens. The principal function rooms are linked via the atrium and the Pavillion extends over the river, with floor to ceiling windows all round to provide amazing views up and down the Thames as well a large balcony wrapped around the room. The Edgson room has a full length covered balcony to the river and is equipped with special effects lights and speakers for music and dancing.
The spacious open-plan building lends itself to a wide variety of theming. The venue has been used as the setting for a block buster movie ‘Love Actually’ starring Hugh Grant and Keira Knightly as well as E4 program ‘Spencer, Vouge & Wedding Two’ As the Boating Base is a charity, the venue hire fee for the rental of the building goes directly to support Trust’s charitable activities for young people.
Many customers have expressed satisfaction in knowing that part of the cost of their event is going to a worthwhile cause. The Westminster Boating Base venue space is solely managed by The Admirable Crichton and we aim to create wonderful experiences with our food and service.

Host rules
Once booking is confirmed deposit is non-refundable. Postponing an event is permitted once, at no extra charge and must be rescheduled for the event to take place within a 6-month period of the original date.
Cancellation or postponement two month or more prior to the event will incur no further charges.
Events cancelled or postponed 60 - 30 days before an event date will be charged 50% of the total cost, 30 - 0 days will be charged 100% of the total cost.

About Westminster Boating Base
This fantastic venue, nestled between the river and the beautiful Pimlico Gardens, in the luxury triangle that forms Chelsea, Belgravia and Westminster, is managed exclusively by The Admirable Crichton.
The spacious pavilion offers an idea setting for weddings, dinners, receptions and parties. Drinks can be held in Pimlico Gardens or the Edgerton Room before moving into the stunning blank canvas Pavilion with wrap around terraces boasting spectacular views across the river.
The abundance of natural light makes either room a fantastic option for meetings, conferences or away days – why not incorporate a team building blast down the river in a power boat from our private pier.
With easy transport links by rail, underground and road or even river and helicopter you and your guests can arrive in style and with great ease. Our private pier can be used for arrivals and departures by pleasure boat or Thames RIB.
