Our most impressive Ballroom, with 19th century original features still decorating the room, galleried staircase, magnificent proportions and lofty beamed ceiling, octagonal 'Tea cabin' fitted with window seats all around, gallery and large inglenook fireplace.

Social events have been hosted in the room since 1912 such as Summer balls, 'Tea Parties' and more. The room can accommodate a standing reception of up to 100 guests.

Please be aware that the Kingswood Arts is in a residential area and consideration must be given to our neighbours including but not limited to music and the departure of all guests.
The running of all events is the responsibility of the duty manager. All decisions regarding the management of the event, the guests and any third parties contracted to provide a service or equipment remain the prerogative of Kingswood Arts.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and are current.
Minimum Food & Beverage spend might be required depending on the event type.
Costs incurred because of actions by any member of the party will be the liability of the individual/company whose name appears on the contract.
No smoking is allowed in the building.

Kingswood Arts is South London’s new palace of Creativity.
Kingswood House, formerly known as King's Coppice, is a Victorian mansion in South Dulwich, listed building Grade II.
After being left empty for a number of years Kingswood House is reopening as Kingswood Arts, a community Arts Centre and creative hub! Set in a 19th Century castle-like mansion, with 32 stunning rooms - many with original features.

Kingswood House combines the charm and character of a grand Victorian building, with the versatility of a modern event venue - offering the benefits of both for your special event.
The Mansion is transformed into a truly multi-functional building with independent spaces for music, drama, dance and visual arts classes. There are also performance & rehearsal spaces and a cosy cafe in the ground floor.

Offered for private hire for any event such as Birthday celebrations, engagement parties, christenings, bar mitzvah, quinceaneras, life celebrations and family events. It will also function as a Wedding & Events Venue, offering office & studio space and hosting corporate and community events.

Kingswood Arts is a non-profit company and by booking your private event with us you help us offer free music, drama, dance and visual arts lessons to young people in the community.
Our experienced team is on hand to help you craft the perfect occasion in our spectacular Victorian Mansion.
