Two double doors open into the Large Hall to create a very versatile space when booked together. Parquet flooring, acoustic panels, and an audio system make this a beautiful and practical hall, which can accommodate 30 people or provide a quieter space for food or refreshments when booked together with the large hall.

Host rules

We don't hire on a Sunday as we are doing church stuff! Regret that teenage parties are not permitted. Loud music needs to be turned off from 10.30pm and all out by 11pm to respect the neighbours. We are OK with alcohol being brought and consumed on the premises, you'd need to apply for a licence to sell alcohol.

Our venue is very popular on Saturday afternoons and evenings so you'd need to book early - we do occasionally have short notice cancellations.

Compliance with our fire safety and safeguarding policies are included within out terms, thanks

We ask hirers to arrange their own setting up and clearing down so the halls are left as found. you'd need to take away your own rubbish too please as we don't have facilities on site.

Excellent venue and location, quiet neighbourhood, new kitchen, very friendly and helpful staff. Happy to use this venue again for other events, and would recommend it to others.
Fridge was too small ( undercounter fridge) for the size of venue.

About St Paul's UR Church and halls Croydon

St Paul's is a fantastic venue for a variety of events and occasions.
We have rooms to suit any occasion or budget and love to make our fully-accessible facilities available to the community.

Transport is easy, with parking for about 15 cars, a Lloyd Park tram stop close by, and good bus routes (433/64) with a stop right outside.

Our large hall is a stunning space for conferences, meetings, wedding receptions, and parties (with space for a bouncy castle!). The high ceiling and original features provide an immediate wow factor and the room can accommodate up to 110 people. The adjoining Small Hall with its hatch gives easy access to our professional Kitchen. Plenty of folding tables and chairs are available.

Parquet flooring, acoustic panels, and an audio system make this a beautiful and practical hall, which can accommodate 30 people.

The professional kitchen, with two large gas hobs, a big oven, an industrial dishwasher, a wall-mounted plumbed kettle, a fridge, a freezer, and more, will meet all your catering needs. There is easy access to the Small and Large Halls via the serving hatch.

The Sanctuary is full of stained glass, carved woodwork, and architectural features, with a grand piano, fine organ, and integrated audio system. This wonderful church provides an impressive space for larger events, conferences, concerts, weddings (with its central aisle), and christenings for up to 250.

Our Jubilee room has been completely refurbished with a cosy multicoloured area, within a light and versatile room; perfect for smaller meetings. This beautiful space can accommodate 30 people.
