Exclusive use of two halls: The Upper Hall and Lower Hall, and a fully fitted kitchen. This provides for a seamless event, moving your guests easily from (for instance) a drinks reception, to dinner, to dancing,

The Upper Hall comes decorated with a pea light canopy, while the columns in both halls are entwined in fairy lights. With room for up to 180 people seated for dinner, or 200 for dancing, our space is expansive as well as intimate.

Friday Birthday Party Package
£2400 total
If you're planning a birthday and looking to save some money, we offer discounted rates for Friday weddings. Our Friday party package is available from 4 pm to midnight and includes a savings of £600.

Our venue can accommodate up to 180 guests for a seated meal or 200 guests for a standing reception. While the space can accommodate a larger number of guests, we find that around 140-150 guests are the ideal number for a seated dinner.

Additionally, we allow clients to use outside caterers for their events, subject to a facility fee. Our venue also has a small outdoor space and we have a minimum of two staff members on duty for every event.

The Amadeus was the perfect place to have a warm and friendly, casual wedding with lots of music and fantastic vibes. The location was great and the venue is beautiful without much decoration, we had an amazing day!

A lovely, atmospheric venue, which you can make completely your own. It's deceptively big, with the upper and lower hall, and really beautiful when it's all been dressed up. Some of the features, especially the grand organ, really make the venue extra special. The venue staff are very friendly and professional, and go out of their way to help on the day. Very impressive.

About The Amadeus

This charming former Welsh Presbyterian chapel in Maida Vale / Little Venice has been renovated to create a unique and versatile setting for events of every nature.

Included are both the Victorian elegance of the horseshoe-galleried Upper Hall, with its astounding acoustic and natural light, and the vaulted white brickwork of the Lower Hall.

Through lighting and decor, the character of The Amadeus can be transformed to suit any style or mood.

The Amadeus is delighted to welcome classical and contemporary ensembles to rehearse or record in our wonderful space too.
