About this space

Looking to put on a workshop, hack day, evening talk, life drawing class or away day? Our space is flexible, with organic OpenDesk tables, ergonomic chairs, and an elegant style. You can rearrange the space to suit your event needs. It accommodates 80 people standing, 45 seated in theatre style. Kitchenette as available to use.

Each Main Space booking will be hosted by a member of Hub staff, who will be on hand to answer questions and help your event to run as smoothly as possible. You are welcome to bring your own food and alcohol.

The managers Jenine and Gerald were great; everything from communication to support on the day was friendly, helpful and on point. The space was excellent for what we needed and having the freedom to decorate it and rearrange furniture meant that we could really put our own stamp on it for our event.
The toilets were very very cold and the venue also was a little cool. It was a very cold day (snow!) so perhaps some better heaters for such temperatures would be good for the future.

Jenine, the Manager and her staff were all very helpful beforehand, around during the party but without imposing and on hand to direct while we were clearing up. The venue space downstairs is very good with 2 side rooms available - one to store the tables/chairs and another room with a 2-seater settee and armchair which came in very handy for the adults to sit while the teenagers dance. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave to heat up food, dishwasher and sink area. Security Staff attached to the Pop Brixton venue are also on hand to ensure that the general public did not gatecrash our party. The location is excellent with the tube 5mins walk, the train 3mins and buses from all directions on the main and side roads. Good parking available at the side of the venue. If you don't want/need to provide food at your event then guests have access to all the different small restaurants within the Pop Brixton complex. Toilets available for guests usage.
The only minus is that the venue ended at Midnight and as it was a 18yrs birthday party it would have been nice to finish 1hr later
