The client agrees to cover the costs of black wall for making any area exclusive, Wi-Fi, security and crew to move furniture, should the venue deem this support necessary.
Until the BFI receives the signed contract, the BFI reserves the right to release the space without further notice.
All bookings must include set up and breakdown time, inclusive of BFI Technician's set up.
The basic hire fee includes the provision of the following services by the Venue:
• Use of the space & equipment as normally installed
• Building services
• Technical assistance
• Event coordination and Front of House staffing
Any additional staffing, equipment, cleaning, security costs or any other unpaid bill or cost incurred by the BFI will incur an additional invoice. Such additional payment may be required at the end of the Event. The Hirer agrees to provide the BFI with the requirements for the Event at least four weeks prior to the start of the Hire Period. Whilst the BFI will endeavour to fulfil such requests on less than 4 weeks’ notice it is under no obligation to do so.

BFI IMAX is an incredible, versatile building perfect for screenings, conferences, meetings and large scale events, as well as hosting some of the worlds most exciting premiere events. The space has Britain’s largest cinema screen, and you can hire the entire building and transform both the interior and exterior to give your event the biggest possible impact.
The 20 x 26m screen and 500-capacity luxury auditorium, with state-of-the-art projection facilities, is perfect for major film premieres, product launches and awards ceremonies. The first floor foyer is a brilliant space for receptions, and also lends itself well to photoshoots, product launches and other functions. The first floor has capacity for 450 guests as part of a reception event, or 200 guests for a seated dinner.

The BFI IMAX auditorium has 497 seats in 15 rows of seats, including ones with wheelchair access, so everyone can clearly see the screen. As well as having the biggest screen in Britain, it’s also one of the best equipped for sound and projection technology, and you can set up temporary stages in front of the screen to introduce your event.
