About this space
The Library is the main oval-shaped room at Trinity House and offers direct views of the Tower of London.
With a capacity of 180 standing (130 seated), the room has two stunning bowl-shaped chandeliers, a Minstrels' Gallery, and a display case containing an impressive collection of silver artefacts.
Three stained glass windows, some dating from the mediaeval period, are features of the room, as are the life-size portraits of illustrious personages connected with the Corporation of Trinity House, including the past Master, The late Duke of Edinburgh.
There are two smaller ante-rooms off The Library (The Reading Room and the Pepys Room) for flexible entertaining.

Behind the building’s imposing neo-classical façade are five elegant rooms – The Library, The Court Room, The Pepys Room, Luncheon Room and Reading Room catering for board meetings, conferences, informal dinners, formal banqueting and weddings with a max capacity of 130 seated/180 standing. Height, light and space are key features of the five rooms, four with tall sash windows. The Library and The Court Rooms are licensed for wedding ceremonies and all are dotted with impressive life-size paintings and intriguing maritime treasures and artefacts, including the brass bell from the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Trinity House is available on an exclusive use basis.
