About this space

This area in our main bar is located on the immediate left as you enter our main bar/restaurant.
It is the perfect space for large standing drinks and canapé/buffet events be it corporate, birthdays parties, leaving parties, retirement parties etc.
The area is a bit secluded from the main bar with no access to other guests, but not private.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Bookings – City Division

1. Small table bookings with no deposit taken – no change
2. Small tables booking when a deposit has been taken (eg. Mother’s Day) - We offer the customer (if they contact to cancel) the opportunity to postpone their booking to a later date (we retain the deposit). If this is not agreeable for reasons such as (special celebratory occasion, family travel etc) then we will refund any deposits paid (we must be considerate and understanding of the circumstances)
3. Larger group bookings where deposit has been taken – We offer the organiser/customer (if they contact to cancel) the opportunity to postpone their booking/event to a for a later date within six months of original booking date (we retain the deposit). If this is not agreeable for reasons such as (special celebratory occasion, family travel etc) then we will refund any deposits paid
4. Existing large third-party group bookings (Travel Trade, Corporate etc). As above (this will predominately be taken care of via your Brand Sales Managers). For new bookings we will inform the larger travel trade companies that cancellations within 48 hours of the booking date would incur a 25% fee to enable us to cover our costs).
Whole venue hire deposits are non refundable.

We used the venue for a works retirement party and it was excellent. The food and the service was fantastic and everyone at the party constantly praised the event for how much they were enjoying themselves. Thank you for hosting us!

About Browns Old Jewry

Browns Old Jewry used to be the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. From the outside, the building retains the striking exterior and high ceilings of its past, while the inside offers a stylish new look following its refurbishment is 2016

Nestled in the heart of London’s financial centre, this venue is located close to Bank underground station and with plenty of other public transport an easy walk away.

The ground floor boasts an impressive bar running the length of the building with the bustling restaurant a popular spot for dining and drinks. A stunning mezzanine overlooks the restaurant which is perfect for a range of events from sit down dinner for 100 people to drinks receptions for 120.

Set just off the mezzanine is the private room, a beautifully decorated room perfect for meeting, private dining, cocktail master classes up to 12 guests.

The restaurant is also available for private hire on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
