The Space is a small, intimate 1920s speakeasy cocktail bar hidden away in a barber shop basement.

We provide the best cocktails, late night refreshment and canapes in a space that is ideal for birthday celebrations. You can truly make the space your own with an ipod cable for your favourite playlist, or why not book one of our DJs.

I was absolutely thrilled with having my 30th at the Gobsy! It really was such a great evening and everyone loved it. The cocktails were so delicious and the service was 10/10. I was a nervous planner going into this haha, and when I originally viewed the venue I was extremely panicky. I think the photos online make it look a slightly bigger place and I was nervous. But when it came to the actual event it was literally perfect size and enough room. I decorated the place with loads of extra bits too which they allowed. I would really recommend this for a birthday, we hired a DJ too and he was perfect.
The wallpaper was peeling off and I think perhaps there could be some decor or paintings to go over the space
