About this space
Consisting of a number of gardens along Carlton House Terrace, Waterloo West Garden and Stirling Square Garden can be hired as an extension to our room hire.
This oasis-like woodland was developed as a part of the former royal garden of St James’s Palace when Regency architect John Nash built the surrounding Carlton House Terrace. The garden underwent extensive restoration in 2008 and its 19th-century character has been retained with serpentine paths, trees and shrubs.
The garden is hireable during the day or for evening events finishing before 10 pm.

The Grade I listed building designed in the 19th century sits on the exclusive Carlton House Terrace, which is part of the Crown Estate and boasts views of The Mall, St. James’s Park and The London Eye.

With state-of-the-art AV facilities and in-house technical support, hybrid events can be created easily and a London event can be global.
Our venue also offers enhanced accessibility for easy wheelchair user access, accessible lifts, toilets, hearing loop, and clear signage around the building. Equipment for those delegates with mobility, hearing or visual impairments is also available on request.
