About this space
The Library is a reflection of London’s history as a trading entrepôt, with the ceiling decked in an enormous vintage trading map taken from old travel books.
With a capacity for 32 seated and up to 35 standing, this room is the largest of the meeting spaces, and can be hired for private use, offering an informal setting for working lunches, laidback dinners or business meetings. For larger events or even more space, The Library and Drawing Room can be interconnected.

From receipt of signed contract and up to and including 45 working days prior to the arrival date of The Function:
80% of all contracted room hire revenue
80% of all contracted Day Delegate Rate and food and beverage revenue
Less than 45 working days prior to the arrival date of The Function:
100% of all contracted revenue and any other costs incurred by The Hotel on The Client’s behalf
Any cancellation, postponement, partial cancellation, or reduction in the daily number of reserved rooms should be advised to the management of the Hotel in the first instance verbally.
All cancellations or postponements should be put in writing by the Client in all circumstances.
The cancellation policy will apply for postponement of events at the hotel discretion
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day

We have three private rooms on the lower ground floor, each inflected with individual character and style, in a part of the hotel that is secluded and quiet.
Rooms include audio and visual equipment, mini-bar fridges, Nespresso machines, television screens, and high-speed internet.
Whether guests choose our Library, Drawing Room or Music Room, they can be guaranteed an original and quiet venue for dinner, drinks, or business meetings.
