Hire this place!!! 🤩 I spent ages trying to find somewhere to celebrate my 30th birthday that wasn't just another pub or bar, and when I came across this venue I knew it would the best fit! It's got something for everyone. Loads of cool retro video and arcade games as well as lots of board games too - all of which grew in volume from the first time I visited the venue, to when I actually ended up hosting my event. The range of drinks available and food was a huge plus too, and the fact that you can play your own music! You have the option to book just the basement downstairs (which is where we spent most of the time), or the entire space - I did the latter as the space upstairs is so nice and it provided a good break from the games and dancing downstairs for those who wanted a more chill space to catch up. Paddy the owner is FAB and helped so much with the organisation and making sure that we had everything we needed, in the way we wanted. It's the kind of place I'll definitely be back to just hang out in generally 😊

The venue is so unique and right up our alley. We received so many compliments from our guests who said the venue was so fun and different. There was a huge variety of old school games to play, which people played throughout the evening. But most importantly the staff are the loveliest, most accommodating bunch of people. Paddy was so easy to work with and flexible too. His communication was amazing, which is key when planning an event. He was also so kind and asked if there were specific drinks we wanted stocked behind the bar. Additionally the food was so yummy, a lot of our guests came from work so had some dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our DJ had a great time too and found it super easy to connect to the sound system. Honestly overall it was one of the most amazing nights, and we’d highly recommend the Zombie cafe and bar!

For a certain sort of event - and you'll be able to tell if yours is - this is an absolutely top tier venue. Impeccable vibes, the owner is very easy to deal with and eager to please. Worth travelling across London for.
The basement has a low (though well-padded!) ceiling and the stairs down to it are rather steep. Not much of a problem for us, but could be for some.
