The Whole House reception has all the benefits of the Arab Hall reception but allows guests to also move upstairs to enjoy the Silk room, where Leighton housed his collection of other artists paintings, and the studio, where he created his most famous works.
Welcome your guests with drinks waiting for you in the entrance hall, before proceeding into the enchanting Arab Hall. Explore the various rooms in Leighton's home while enjoying drinks and canapés.

No smoking on the premises
No drinks allowed outside the front of the building.
Garden closes at 21:30.
Sans service animals, no pets allowed inside the building.
Dancing is not permitted in the building.
For Drinks reception, no dark coloured beverages (ie coca-cola, red wine etc.)
Due to the fragile nature of the house, no electric wheelchairs/scooters are permitted.
No amplified music.
No lighting apparatus, decorations, drapery, furniture, costumes, stage sets or theatrical properties shall be brought into the premises without the prior written consent of the Head of Culture or the officer designated to act on their behalf
About Leighton House
Leighton House is the former artist studio of Fredric, Lord Leighton (1830-1896) and it is conveniently located at the heart of Kensington, West London. Recently redeveloped, the house is an extraordinary venue for entertaining proving an unforgettable setting for weddings, dinners, receptions, lectures, concerts and photographic or film shoots.
