Home of great debates since 1884, the Lecture Hall is our largest space hosting up to 100 people comfortably. A beautiful space that has hosted many historic events and people; interestingly, Lenin, the former leader of the Soviet Union, visited once.
Toynbee’s Lecture Hall is now available to hire for your next corporate event. We can host conferences, board meetings and training sessions of up to 100 people. Boasting tall ceilings and impressive acoustics, the Lecture Hall is ideal for business events and corporate presentations.

Our previous guests include notable people like William Beveridge, Clement Attlee, Pierre de Coubertin, the Barnett family and many others. In the 19th century, Henrietta Barnett became an iconic figure at Toynbee Hall for setting the groundwork in hospitality, networking and event planning.
