The Wine Room is a large, airy, well lit space that we can cater to your needs as needed - whether for a work meeting with presentations, a celebration of life event, or a late night party - you tell us what you need, and we'll set it up for the perfect party.

We have free Wi-Fi onsite, and you can hijack our speakers, whether for speeches or to blast your latest Spotify playlist. The room also has a huge dropdown projector, for your slideshow of embarrassing childhood pictures or treasured memories, depending on who's in the pictures.

About The Great North Wood

We are in the heart of West Norwood, located adjacent to platform 1 of West Norwood train station. Since 1864, we have been the place for The West Norwood community to gather, socialise and relax. Today, the purpose of our pub remains exactly the same! Pop in for a quick drink in our beer garden, a Sunday roast with the family and the dog, or a light bite on a week night.

Our kitchen’s attitude is to cook British pub classics, unadulterated and delicious. Pop in for a light bite on a pleasant afternoon or join us for dinner on a date night.
