About this space

The St Pancras & St Chad’s rooms combine to create a versatile meeting space that can be separated into two 15-capacity spaces. With a 65" TV and Roku bar mounted at each end of the room, you will have everything you need for your meeting, workshop or event, even if you split the room in half.

What do their names mean, though? Well, in 597 AD a mission of Roman monks arrived here carrying the relics of the martyr St Pancras. The monks built a church in King’s Cross (St Pancras Old Church) making it one of the oldest sites of Christian worship in Europe. And, just a stone’s throw away from here was the historic St Chad’s Well: an ancient well of purification which, during the 18th century, received over a 1000 visitors each week in search of healing. Physicians at the time described the well as “the best purging waters in England”.

Rates given assume a minimum hire for 4 hours, at £300+VAT/hr. Bookings must finish and vacate the building by 11pm.

Because King's House is all about providing hope & support to more vulnerable members of the community & local area, we do not accept bookings relating to industries that have a detrimental impact on the welfare of individuals. No sweepstake, raffle, tombola, lottery or other form of gambling is to be permitted without prior consent. For this reason the hirer must honestly declare and fully represent at the outset the purpose for hiring the space - any actual or apparent misrepresentation may result in a cancellation of a booking without further liability.
