About this space
Make your wedding unforgettable at the Landmark Arts Centre's historic ‘cathedral.’ With its dramatic vaulted ceilings, intricate stone carvings, and vibrant stained glass windows, this Grade II* listed venue offers a magical setting while supporting arts access.
Versatile and imposing open space with a height of over 20 metres. Dimensions: 24.7metres x 16.5metres / 401.4 square metres.
Up to 250 guests comfortably.
The Landmark has 14 trestle tables which each sit 6 people + 250 black chairs, these are free of charge and included in your hire fee. If you wish to hire round tables and more elaborate chairs, we can offer the name of a supplier.

Host rules
- The hire does not include the use of the main concert sound or stage lighting systems.
- The event must end by the specified time. For full evening hires on Saturdays, guests must leave by midnight due to the residential location.
- Additional hours for event preparation are available only in exceptional cases, subject to staff availability, at an extra cost of £95 per hour (or part thereof).
- A professional catering company must be engaged for the event.
- There are no cooking facilities or commercial catering appliances on site. Barbecues and hog roasts are not permitted inside or within the outside grounds.
- The caterer is responsible for recycling and removing all food waste on the evening of the event.
- The hirer must ensure that the caterer and any other suppliers provide adequate staff for service and clearing throughout the event.
- Catering staff must clear cutlery, crockery, and food waste during the event and assist in clearing tables and chairs afterward.
- Glass, plastic bottles, and cardboard must be flattened and placed in the bins provided.
- Confetti is not allowed inside or outside the building. Candles cannot be used inside the building.
- We reserve the right to cancel the booking if event arrangements do not conform to our terms and conditions.
- A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm any booking, payable by cheque to ‘Landmark Trading Limited.’
- The balance of the hire and a specified damage deposit must be paid two months before the event.
