Once the original Vestry Hall for the Town Hall, the Council Chamber is the most architecturally significant space, featuring an original highly ornate moulded ceiling, floor to ceiling columns and stained glass windows.

Located on the ground floor, the Council Chamber is a flexible space ideal for parties and receptions, conferences, launches and talks and can be hired as a singular room, breakout, or complemented by the Mayor's Parlour, the adjacent space.
