About this space

We have two large industry standard lights that are used in each corner of the room, not only to bring light, but also to provide an interesting backdrop to your event.

We have tables and chairs available for use (up to 30). We don't have any table decorations on site however. You must provide your own plates, cutlery, glasses etc.

There's a bathroom you can use in the main building (just next door).

We're set in an industrial unit in a vibrant part of Hackney :)

Use of neighbouring commerical kitchen available for extra fee. Chefs must send us a copy of their level 2 or above food safety certificates and limited liability insurance.

Please give us as much notice as possible so we can book this in with the kitchen.

About Bread and Butter Studio

Bread and Butter Studios is a unique venue in that by day, it (typically) functions as a photography studio and by night it turns in to an events space.

The charm of this space is that it is extremely versatile whilst providing a quirky backdrop for you to host your event.

We've hosted workshops, supper clubs, cinema screenings, pop-up markets, masterclasses, acoustic nights, parties, shoots and pretty much every other kind of event you can think of.

There's a small prep space that you can use, (small fridge, sink, microwave) however, if you need a full kitchen for an event there's a industry standard kitchen you can hire for use in the unit next to us for £170 for the evening.
