About this space

Kemble House is a warehouse photography studio and event space in Forest Hill, south east London. Because many of our clients are food and drink brands and publishers, Kemble House has a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, with a Smeg double range cooker and Smeg fridge, plus an induction hob on a large island. There is a large oak table with room for 8-10 people to dine or work, but this can be dismantled if you prefer completely empty floor space.

Alternatively, we can also provide more tables and seating for up to 18 people (there is room for 36 people to dine, but with extra hired seating). Kemble House measures 700 square feet with a wall of first floor north-facing daylight windows. It has a small bathroom, a parking space, plus free parking on adjacent streets, and high-speed fibre broadband. We have a Cambo stand and a collection of props, glassware and cutlery which you are welcome to use for shoots, plus a separate collection of crockery and glasses for general use. Kemble House is accessed by an external staircase and double doors.

About Kemble House Studio

Kemble House is a photography studio in a converted Victorian warehouse, which is also a great space to host workshops, team away day sessions and small events. Our photographers mainly shoot food and drink, so we have an excellent kitchen (plus a bathroom).

The venue is white, with high ceilings and brick walls, and is light and airy, due to its wall of north-facing windows. It's close to Forest Hill station and on great transport links. We have been established for just over six years and have a loyal following of regulars who come back to us for both shoots and events.
