About this space

Situated adjacent to the River Roding, The Fishing Smack is a bright and spacious area that is a part of our four studio venue. One major benefit of having a blank canvas for a venue is that you can set it up and decorate it however you would like! It is the perfect option for both business and social gatherings.

Hire includes:
Tables (round or trestle)
Chairs (black or white)
Freshly laundered black spandex table covers
Bluetooth sound speaker
Microphone
Extension leads
Projector
LED fairy lights
Additional equipment can be provided at an extra cost.

Free parking is available after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all weekend long for up to 40 cars with a barrier code.
There is a small galley kitchen at the venue where food can be prepared.

Setting up and taking down the event require careful consideration of time. Suggested minimum of 60 minutes for every one.

Alcohol surcharge £200 plus VAT (BYOB) for hirer providing alcohol at no charge to guests OR paying bar (minimum spend £250).

Our studios have sprung floors and offer a blank canvas that can be transformed to suit your needs. This peaceful 'get-away-from-it-all' offers great privacy.

Its urban warehouse feel with exposed brick walls gives it a contemporary feel. It's the perfect setting for people who want the freedom to create their own space in their own way, and stamp their individuality. We have a 'yes and' approach to events and if we can help you to make your idea work we'll do our best to make things possible. You can bring in your own decor, catering and entertainment. We have free parking after 5pm on weekdays and all weekend. :)
