About this space

The main church is a lovely large open space with a high ceiling and wooden floor approached through a spacious lobby. It can be arranged in a variety of ways for different activities. It is particularly well suited to large conferences or meetings. The room also lends itself to enterprises requiring an unrestricted floor area such as large dance sessions, craft fairs, rehearsals or filming. Chairs and tables are available and can be arranged in different ways.

The main kitchen (recently refurbished) can be used at no extra cost but is shared with other building users. For a catered event, the Meeting Room can be hired along with the Main Church which would include exclusive use of the kitchen.

A new amplification system, 2 large screens and a fixed camera have recently been fitted offering full sound, video and live streaming equipment. This can be hired, including 4 wireless microphones, for an additional charge. Hirers would need to bring their own laptop and if streaming is required hirers also need to provide their own technical support.

Children's party bookings are taken on Saturday afternoons.

Free Wi-Fi is available.

There are 130 chairs and more can be hired

There are 10 folding tables (L180cm x W68cm x H70cm) and more can be hired

The 2 parking spaces on site can be booked through a national parking space provider and are not exclusively for the use of hirers

N.B. We would ask that people respect that this space is used for worship and not move the altar or piano (room dimensions exclude this area).

The St George's hire agreement will need to be signed.
Outside catering is allowed.
A Damage Deposit of £50 is applied to all one-off bookings.
No parties except children's parties
No alcohol except by prior arrangement.

About St George's Tufnell Park

If you are considering venues to hold your activity or session please have a look at the spaces that St George’s has to offer. We would be happy to show you our rooms and assist with any information you require.

The main church is a large open space which can seat up to 300 people approached through a generous lobby, the Meeting Room and Young Room are suitable for up to 20 people and we have a small counselling Room.

Rooms can be booked on a regular weekly basis or for one-off hire and are suitable for a variety of activities including conferences, meetings, training, dance, music, fitness and children’s activities.

The building is wheelchair accessible.
