About this space

The Meeting Room is in the front part of the church building with a hatch (with closing doors) to the kitchen and folding doors onto the main church space. It is a square room suitable for a variety of activities including meetings, training, children’s classes and small dance/fitness groups. It also lends itself, in conjunction with the kitchen, for use for a small cooking class or lunch club.

The room can be hired on its own or it works well as a refreshment area or breakout space for the main church.

There are low comfy chairs which can be stacked and upright chairs and tables brought in. Use of the kitchen is included in the price but it is shared with other building users.

Accessibility:

There is complete level entry from the street into the room and an accessible toilet very nearby.

If you are considering venues to hold your activity or session please have a look at the spaces that St George’s has to offer. We would be happy to show you our rooms and assist with any information you require.

The main church is a large open space which can seat up to 300 people approached through a generous lobby, the Meeting Room and Young Room are suitable for up to 20 people and we have a small counselling Room.

Rooms can be booked on a regular weekly basis or for one-off hire and are suitable for a variety of activities including conferences, meetings, training, dance, music, fitness and children’s activities.

The building is wheelchair accessible.
