About this space
“Fabal” means the human as a craft person and a huge amount of work has gone into making our beautiful venue with very little impact. All the furniture is reclaimed and our handmade bar, which is a wonderful centre piece to the space, is made from recycled wood by a local family business. We have a huge variety of seating available, from cosy sofas to bench tables, that can be configured as you see fit - you can push back the furniture and have a dance floor, create intimate alcoves for smaller groups or make it an indoor-outdoor affair with tables outside too.
The Fabal Beerhall is hugely versatile.
Centrally located, stylish events space on the Bermondsey Beer Mile. Ideal for birthdays, Christmas parties, weddings, work functions and events. The venue can cater for up to 250 people standing and 120 seated and is a budget friendly, blank canvas to paint your perfect event.
Fabal's newly refurbished venue is located in the railway arches a short walk from London Bridge and Bermondsey station. The buzzing atmosphere of the Beer Mile seeps through the Victorian Archway to give this space an intimate but exciting energy.
Our bar serves a range of fresh and natural beverages including British beers, English wines, non alcoholic drinks and great cocktails too. We have options to add karaoke or a large screen and a list
of recommended food partners too. If you fancy an activity we can discuss beer tastings, quizzes, DJs and much more!

Guest under 18 not allowed unless accompanied by an adult after 21:00
Host rules
1. Noise levels to be controlled at the discretion of staff members.
2. Guests are not allowed behind the bar, in the storage area or behind the DJ booth.
3. Naked flames (including but not limited to: birthday candles, tea lights, lighters) are not allowed inside the premises. This is a condition of our lease as a Network Rail tenant.
4. Children and pets must be under adult supervision at all time. Latest time kids are allowed in is 6pm.
5. Guest should please leave the premises silently so as not to disturb our neighbours. We ask that guests disperse and arrange separate pick up points for taxis to keep noise levels to a minimum.
6. Confetti, smoke machines, party poppers and other glitter guns are not permitted. These are incredibly time consuming to clear up and use will incur a £50 restoration fee to be deducted from your deposit.
7. Decorations are allowed but they must not damage the existing artwork or posters in the space and guests should ensure they are taken home on the night of the party or the morning after prior to the venue re-opening.
8. Guests must please leave the premises in line with the venue licencing hours – you will be informed of your last orders and leaving times as part of your booking. Up to 50% of your deposit might be taken away if your guests are not gone after your agreed leaving time.
9. To secure the date, a deposit is expected and no other form of confirmation will be respected.
10. All deposits will be returned up to 5 days from the event date to the original form of payment made.
11. No smoking and no vaping allowed in the building.
12. Outside catering allowed, but the third party vendor is responsible for his garbage safe disposal.
13. No drinks outside allowed after 10 pm.

At Fabal we love lager. From our crisp and easy drinking house Pilsner to our full-flavoured Festbeer, our beers are produced naturally and made with 100% English grain and hops.
So they're local as well as delicious. 'Fabal' means craftsperson and so we're thrilled to showcase the best of English craft Lagers in our Beerhall. As a small & independent business, we are proud to be a part of the Bermondsey Beer Mile community and hope that you have a fabal-ous time. Cheers!
