Theatre at Opera Holland Park
About this space
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Grade I listed Holland House, and surrounded by the beautifully landscaped gardens of Holland Park & the tranquil Kyoto Garden, our open-air theatre is a truly inimitable venue. Each summer, we construct a fully canopied, purpose-built auditorium on the historic terrace, that can host an audience of 900.
Available for hire outside of festival performance dates, the theatre comes with a range of customisation options, and our team is on hand to help create a bespoke event tailored to your needs.

About Opera Holland Park
An extraordinary three-month summer festival, Opera Holland Park is a breath of fresh air in the heart of London.
Every summer, our theatre is built on the terrace of the Grade I listed Holland House to accommodate an audience of over 900 from across the capital and beyond.
Surrounded by the beautiful formal gardens and renowned Kyoto Garden of Holland Park, our theatre is a unique venue in which to enjoy critically acclaimed performances, welcoming over 40,000 visitors each summer for over 27 years.
From peacocks walking around the lawns to innovative design and sublime drinks, the spirit of our theatre is stylish, creative and vibrant. As a summer festival based in London, we offer both the natural beauty and sense of escapism associated with country house festivals, and the cosmopolitan atmosphere and ease of access associated with the London-based houses.
Sustainability informs every aspect of the theatre, with food and drink predominantly sourced from independent companies within a 50 mile radius of Holland Park. A range of beautiful onsite bars as well as picnic areas are open both before the performance and during the interval, offering a selection of carefully curated drinks and snacks.
