General Use
- No external food, drink, alcohol, or smoking without prior approval
- Only guide and assistance dogs allowed
- Filming must be declared in advance and approved by staff
- Bookings promoting extremism, violence, or criminal activity will not be accepted
Booking and Access
- Bookings are first come, first served and confirmed only after full payment
- No access before booking time; room must be vacated on time
- Overstays are charged at double the published rate
- Community rate available for registered charities and non-profits (not for ticketed events)
Conduct and Safety
- Excessive noise must be reduced on request or the booking may be terminated
- Children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times
- Users must follow fire safety procedures and ensure others do the same
Equipment and Responsibilities
- All electrical equipment brought in must be PAT tested and declared in advance
- Equipment is the user’s responsibility and must be removed after use
- Room must be left clean, with rubbish cleared and library items washed
- Any damages to property or equipment will be charged to the hirer

- More than 2 months’ notice: full refund
- Less than 2 months’ notice: no refund
About Una Marson Library
This is a modern library in South London. The location allows transport links via bus routes 42, 136, and 343. Named after the poet, the library offers a welcoming and accessible environment.
The venue includes two meeting rooms for smaller sessions and a larger community space for 60 guests. Each space includes Wi-Fi, tables, chairs, and flipcharts. Fully wheelchair accessible and open Monday to Saturday, the library is available for Sunday bookings by request.
