About this space
During your wedding day, you will have exclusive and private access to the whole property, allowing you to use the 17th-century manor and surrounding 8 acres of gardens almost as if it was your own.
The venue features a number of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces which you will be able to enjoy during your big day. The largest reception space found within the manor house is the on-site restaurant called The Only Place, which can host up to 90 seated or 120 evening guests. Directly from the mansion, you will be able to reach the outside terrace, overlooking the gardens - the perfect place to enjoy some warm sunlight and refreshments.
The Old Lodge offers you two unique spaces in which to tie the knot - you can do so in the lovely Forever Folly garden pavilion or in the vintage Jacobean Hall - both of which provide you with stunning backdrops for those memorable wedding photographs.
The venue also features accommodation. 28 luxurious, en-suite bedrooms have been prepared to accommodate you and your dear guests for an overnight stay after you happily dance the night away.

About The Old Lodge
The Old Lodge is a charming and romantic wedding venue, featuring historical architecture and carefully landscaped gardens. It offers you both indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony and reception.
The venue is fully licensed to host civil ceremonies, for which they have prepared two unique function spaces - the garden pavilion called Forever Folly or the wood-panelled Jacobean Hall which dates back to the year 1604.
There are also several reception spaces found within the venue, the biggest of which can accommodate up to 120 guests for a cocktail reception.
The team of The Old Lodge consist of experienced professionals, ready to help and advise you every step of the way. Many previous guests were delighted not only with the service though but also with beautiful, atmospheric interiors and delicious food served by the on-site restaurant.
You will find the venue on the outskirts of the market town of Malton. You can reach it very easily by car, thanks to the nearby A64 motorway. It’s a great location if you fancy doing some sightseeing as there are plenty of places to visit in the proximity, such as the historic city of York or some seaside locations like Whitby and Scarborough.
