Event & Workshop Space at Wellington Studios
About this space
Wellington Studios is a vibrant art studio and coworking space located in the historic Wellington House in Ancoats. Housed in a 19th-century terracotta red brick mill, this creative hub offers a unique and inspiring environment.
The 720 sq ft open-plan space is available for hire during evenings and weekends, with short-term daytime rentals also an option. The studio retains its original red pillars and brickwork arches, providing a distinctive backdrop for any event. The amenities include a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, a breakout area with sofas, and five tables that can accommodate 20-25 seats. Additionally, our large kitchen island, repurposed from the Manchester Velodrome's old track, is perfect for product shoots. If you seek a venue with character and a touch of Manchester's industrial heritage, Wellington Studios is your ideal choice.
Conveniently located, Wellington Studios is just a short walk from the New Islington tram stop, and there is on-street parking available on weekends and evenings.
Please note that as part of a working mill, the building can be noisy at times, though it tends to be quieter during the day.
