Hush is our specially built soundproof studio designed for filming. It's a noisy world and when you're filming reshoots take time. If you have a contributor sharing their story it's vital you get their emotions the first time. Hence why we boast one of only 2 soundproof facilities in the northwest for filming.
Hush is a studio designed for small sets and pieces to camera. It has 3 plastered walls and is supplied with lighting. It's perfect for documentaries and interviews or for dialogue-heavy shoots. It's large enough for cast and crew but small enough to be an intimate space to coax the best performances.
It's the ideal shooting space for e-learning and how-to videos. To help with this Galleon Studios offer teleprompters as well as a wide variety of other kits to ensure you have the best filming experience. Not only do we offer cameras and mics but sliders, mixers, and hard drive recorders. Our comprehensive kit is there for you to hire.
We also have a wide variety of crew available. These trained professionals can help with every aspect of your production be it for broadcast, web video, or live events.
With Hush, you also get a large make-up room for talent, a dressing room, and a lounge. The latter green room allows your clients to observe the shoot in comfort, within easy reach should they need to enter the filming space. It can also serve as a waiting room for other contributors.
Hush can be repainted to suit you, set dressed or we offer a variety Coloramas to create the ideal backdrop for your production. A production desk at the back of the room is the ideal vantage point for live mixing or for autocue.
Hush benefits from ground floor access and super fast wifi. It has access to a kitchen area with free teas and coffess as well as snacks. The space also has free parking.

About Galleon Studios
Galleon Studios is a first-class filming facility in the North of Manchester. It comprises of 3 studios each offering a different experience for the many and varied productions we welcome. EV Charging and free parking available
"Infinity" is our largest space. It's a green screen infinity cove big enough to film multiple people or large subjects such as vehicles or big sets.
"Hush" is one of our soundproof studios. Our facility is one of only 2 fully soundproof filming studios in the North West and Hush is perfect for interviews and pieces to camera. It's also large enough to accommodate small sets and backdrops. This means it's perfect if you wish to film uninterrupted.
The Live Suite is our specially built live-streaming studio. Opened during the pandemic it was a lifeline for companies needing a venue for live events or where keynote speakers could remotely join from Manchester to the rest of the world. Galleon Studios also has a Podcast Styduio which may Podcast and Vodcasts call home.
The venue itself has superfast internet boasting the fastest speeds around. It has 2 kitchens, a shower, make-up room, dressing room, and toilet facilities. It also features a client lounge. This central hub allows clientele to monitor whichever studio they are suing and is the perfect place to relax on a break or watch the whole shoot unfold.
Galleon Studios are a specialist filming studios purpose-built for the moving image. All lighting is in place and included in the hire fee. We also offer all the kit you'd need for a successful shoot. This includes cameras and mics as well as autocues, motion control rigs, and mixers. As we're a specialist green screen studio we have all you need to create a virtual venue. This includes live keyers that allow you to see the green screen with any background you wish as you shoot.
The studios are ideally situated just off the M62 and we offer free and ample parking..
