About this space
Opened during the pandemic to help companies communicate, The Live Suite is a self-contained Virtual Filming space. The studio has a kitchen and toilet and a three-sided green screen. It's perfect for virtual events and pieces to camera. It's also fully soundproof so you can undertake your event in full knowledge of zero interruptions.
The space is provided pre-lit which means you need only arrive and at the flick of a switch you're ready to go live. As a green screen space, you have access to a wide variety of technology to make your production a success. Not only have we the latest and best cameras but we have green screen treadmills turntables and live keyers. The latter means you can see your finished key as you shoot. This means that we can add a virtual; set to make your presenters appear to be anywhere in the world and interact as though they are really there.
Galleon Studios also provide crew as well. The production team is well versed in not only live events but video production as well. This means for whatever reason you hire The Live Suite you can be confident that our crew will not only understand your brief but deliver whatever is asked to accomplish it. If you have your own crew then why not take advantage of the additional kit we have to support them. Available to you are on camera autocues which means your talent will never be lost for words.
The space is perfect for broadcast too. It's used by the major broadcasters for green screen interviews for shows such as "Below Deck" and others.
The Live Suite also serves as our Podcast Studio. Here you'll find all the kit you need to go "on-air" including Rode microphones and the Rodecaster mixer. If you utilise our multi-camera mixing then you have all you need for a broadcastable Vodcast. Again we have the crew and know-how to get you started (and finished) in the world of streaming.

About Galleon Studios
Galleon Studios is a first-class filming facility in the North of Manchester. It comprises of 3 studios each offering a different experience for the many and varied productions we welcome. EV Charging and free parking available
"Infinity" is our largest space. It's a green screen infinity cove big enough to film multiple people or large subjects such as vehicles or big sets.
"Hush" is one of our soundproof studios. Our facility is one of only 2 fully soundproof filming studios in the North West and Hush is perfect for interviews and pieces to camera. It's also large enough to accommodate small sets and backdrops. This means it's perfect if you wish to film uninterrupted.
The Live Suite is our specially built live-streaming studio. Opened during the pandemic it was a lifeline for companies needing a venue for live events or where keynote speakers could remotely join from Manchester to the rest of the world. Galleon Studios also has a Podcast Styduio which may Podcast and Vodcasts call home.
The venue itself has superfast internet boasting the fastest speeds around. It has 2 kitchens, a shower, make-up room, dressing room, and toilet facilities. It also features a client lounge. This central hub allows clientele to monitor whichever studio they are suing and is the perfect place to relax on a break or watch the whole shoot unfold.
Galleon Studios are a specialist filming studios purpose-built for the moving image. All lighting is in place and included in the hire fee. We also offer all the kit you'd need for a successful shoot. This includes cameras and mics as well as autocues, motion control rigs, and mixers. As we're a specialist green screen studio we have all you need to create a virtual venue. This includes live keyers that allow you to see the green screen with any background you wish as you shoot.
The studios are ideally situated just off the M62 and we offer free and ample parking..
