About this space

The Front Room featuring a bar area is a large space and it can be used as the front of house with a bar or just an extra rehearsal space.

The bar area has recently been refurbished, and the bar is licensed. A disabled-access toilet is also available.

We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest theatres in Manchester and Salford!

About The Empty Space

The Empty Space is a unique and custom-built theatre space, housed in an old industrial unit just five minutes from the main studio block at MediaCity.

From its inception in December 2016, the venue has developed into a popular performance space, hosting a variety of professional and amateur productions throughout the year (including GM Fringe), college graduate shows, comedy nights, music recitals, showcases, training, and rehearsals, as well as being home to Footlights Theatre.
