The Town Hall Tavern is a cosy Manchester pub and, as the name would suggest, it's a stone's throw from the Town Hall. Hidden away down a narrow alley way off Albert Square, The Town Hall Tavern is a real favourite with Manchester locals.

Our function room upstairs features a private bar, plenty of seating and standing space along with an AV/Sound system so that you can play your own music.

Had a leaving party in the upstairs room that holds up to 50. It worked perfectly as a space for an small gathering with friendly bar staff throughout. A central location, just a short walk from the nearest tram stop, meant people found it easily. Many thanks to the Town Hall Tavern for hosting us!

This was our xmas party, it could've turned out to be a disaster with many dropping out due to the train strikes. But the venue was perfect, the young lad on the bar was brilliant all night. Very friendly and had a good chat with a few of our guests. When his shift finished and another lad took over he was equally a delight. Will definitely book again next year... this time with quite a few more of us I hope!

Had a great time here. We had our own bar upstairs with one member of staff. The kitchen had closed so they let us order food in from outside. Things I shall note for next time. - Make everyone aware that the party is upstairs as a few people bought drinks from downstairs prior to coming up which meant the minimum spend wast meant and I lost the deposit
