About this space
The Ainscough Outreach Centre provides a welcoming, functional space for workshops and music projects at Chetham’s, as well as a self-contained complex for external events.
The Outreach Centre is split over two rooms, in which guests or workshop participants may be entirely self contained with a small kitchen, accessible bathrooms and an external entrance as well as pianos and musical equipment.
The Centre is built in the same contemporary style as other spaces in Chetham’s New Building, with vast picture windows overlooking Hunt’s Bank. Closely linked to the Oglesby Atrium, it can provide an ideal breakout space for larger conferences or a unique venue for smaller events from workshops to dining.

About Stoller Hall
Built in 2017, The Stoller Hall is a RIBA National award-winning live concerts and events venue in Manchester, hosting acts as diverse as Sheku Kanneh-Mason and the BBC Philharmonic and Lindisfarne to comedians such as Babatunde Aleshé and Jenny Eclair.
As a wider part of Chetham’s School of Music, these are spaces designed to exacting acoustic and modern standards, and to encourage creativity to grow.
The main auditorium has space for up to 400 delegates (theatre style) with pianos, technical equipment and in-house crew to make it a superb, flexible space for formal conferences or concerts. The adjacent Carole Nash Hall seats 170 delegates and is an inspiring space for recitals, presentations and competitions. The Oglesby Atrium forms a large central space flooded with natural light which can be used as a breakout, dining or meeting space. With top-of-the-range conference facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout, these are versatile accessible spaces suitable for corporate clients and public sector organisations. HD cameras, projector and projection screens, HD TVs, AV equipment are also available. Onsite catering and bar facilities are also available.
The Stoller Hall meets high sustainability standards with LED lighting throughout, and a modern Building Management System for energy efficiency that ensures comfortable and stable temperatures year-round. The building is also fully accessible, with lifts and accessible toilets on every floor.
