Host rules
All refuse and waste generated will need to be cleared away at the end of the event with a minimum charge of £500 applied if this condition is not met.
Where appropriate, an additional cleaning charge of £100 per hour will be applied to events where the Church will need to be prepared for its operational effectiveness.
Under no circumstances are portable gas appliances to be used within the Church building.
Any risk assessments, third party indemnity and insurance must be in place with copies sent to the Church before the event takes place. All costs incurred as part of this process will be the responsibility of the person/s agreeing to these terms and conditions.
On certain occasions where the Church Management deems it necessary, General Risk Assessments and Fire Risk Assessments may need to be produced and a copy given to the Church.
Permission must be obtained to move any furniture and fittings.
Smoking, vaping or use of recreational drugs is not permitted anywhere within the footprint of the Church.
Adequate care to avoid spillages must be undertaken in all areas used for the service of food or beverages.
Ensure all rubbish is taken off site for recycling.
Alterations of any kind to the fabric of the building are not permitted.
Ensure any equipment hired is returned to its original place.
All equipment hired in or brought into the church for events or services must either be on rubber type wheels or have rubber type feet.
Any equipment brought into the building must have proof of current PAT certification with a proof of certification submitted to the Operations Manager prior to the event hire.
No items are to be left in the Church after the event has finished without prior agreement with the Church.
Any damage caused during a hire should immediately be reported to the designated verger. The cost of repairing the damage will be charged and fully covered by the Hirer.

Built in 1825, Saint Philips Chapel Street is a historic Grade II listed building designed by architect Robert Smirke.
This building is currently home to a vibrant church community and over the years has been host to many arts, culture and music events. A place for creativity to thrive in the heart of Manchester.
The building sports incredibly grand architecture with a gorgeous stained window centre stage. The venue is a large statement and a cultural touchpoint on Chapel Street.
