Hire Shotton Grange for your exclusive use and feel at home celebrating with up to 200 seated guests. The restored Coach House with festoon lighting, exposed stone walls, large windows and a beamed ceiling will take your loved ones’ breaths away. The room can comfortably seat up to 110 people for an indoor wedding ceremony. If weather permits, you can also tie the knot in the Georgian walled garden or under an avenue of trees on the front lawn.
Sip champagne in the stunning cocktail bar and lounge or retreat to a relaxing snug – however you choose to spend your precious moments, you will feel completely relaxed and taken care of. Enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast before your evening party, served by a pizza van or a hog roast. If you stay at the house, the elegant Drawing Room with high ceilings and bay windows is a brilliant gathering place for you and your closest guests.

Treat yourself to elegance and style at Shotton Grange, a Georgian manor and coaching house now serving as an exclusive wedding and event venue. Nestled in 6 acres of country grounds and walled gardens, the property offers peaceful accommodation consisting of an adjoining cottage and 8 individually decorated bedrooms, including the complimentary bridal suite with a private dressing room.
Your wedding will be coordinated by a Master of Ceremonies and there are a range of reception areas waiting for you to enjoy afterwards. 22 people can stay overnight and share traditionally cooked breakfast on the day after your celebration.
Shotton Grange is situated on the Old Great North Road in the village of Seaton Burn, just next to the A1. The most prominent attraction close by is Northumberlandia, a landform sculpture with walking trails. Visitors can also enjoy the golf clubs and country parks of Newcastle upon Tyne, known for its Life Science Centre. Newcastle International Airport is less than 15 minutes from the venue.
